Food Safety & Allergen FAQ

How we handle our shared kitchen and allergens, and how to reach us with questions.

Is your kitchen allergen-free?

No. All of our meals and treats are prepared in a shared kitchen where milk, egg, wheat, soy, tree nuts and other common allergens are handled. We cannot guarantee any item is free from cross-contact, so we can't recommend our food for anyone with a severe allergy.

How do you list allergens?

Each meal and treat shows a "Contains:" warning with the major allergens in its ingredients, based on our recipes and the labels of the ingredients we use. If an item says "Allergens not yet confirmed," we're still reviewing its ingredient labels.

How do you check allergens?

We review our recipes and the labels of packaged ingredients like sauces, tortillas, broths and protein powders. When a supplier or recipe changes, we update the allergen warning on the menu.

Can you make a meal without a certain ingredient?

Our menu is prepared in batches, so substitutions aren't always possible. Ask us before ordering and we'll tell you what we can do.

I have an allergy or dietary restriction. What should I do?

Contact us before ordering at saucypapimeals@gmail.com. Tell us the allergy and the meals you're interested in, and we'll share what we know about those ingredients.

How should I store and reheat my meals?

Refrigerate meals as soon as they arrive and follow the reheating notes on each meal. Reheat until steaming hot throughout.
